These terms are an agreement between you and Maxuvo ("Maxuvo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.
1. Who can use Maxuvo
You must be 18 or older to use Maxuvo. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
2. Education only
Maxuvo provides general education and planning tools, not financial, tax or legal advice.
- Maxuvo suggests types of account and an order for using them. It does not recommend specific securities or companies' products.
- Maxuvo never moves, holds or invests your money.
- Maxuvo does not give tax, legal or immigration advice and does not tell you what to do about your own tax filing, visa or immigration status.
3. No advice relationship
Using Maxuvo does not create an advisory, fiduciary or professional relationship between you and us. We are not a registered investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a bank, a tax preparer or a law firm.
4. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own financial decisions and for the accuracy of what you enter. Consider a qualified professional for your situation before acting on anything you read in the app.
5. Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
6. Subscriptions
Some features need a paid subscription. On iPhone and iPad, subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through In-App Purchase. You manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Apple's terms apply to payment and refunds. The plan, manually entered accounts, budget, limits tracker, lessons, safety warnings and data export are free.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: do not try to break its security, access other people's data, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Changes and availability
We may change or stop features. If we make a material change to these terms we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep the information accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or right for your circumstances.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Maxuvo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions you make using the app. [Liability cap to be set with counsel.]
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Maxuvo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State to be confirmed with counsel], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
